I love the bonnet, don't you? This blessing outfit was a Christmas gift from Grandma Pope (and Grandpa too!). They purchased it in New Orleans during one of my father's business conferences that they attended together last year. It is made from antique tablecloths and the set includes a bonnet as well as matching bloomers--I think it's my favorite blessing outfit yet! We now have four, thanks to my parents--aka Grandma--who has graciously, and lovingly, searched for and purchased one for each of our daughters, over the past six years. Aren't Grandma's great?

Here are some of my favorite family pics from little Abby's baby blessing, which happened on her 3-month birthday, June 13th, 2010. My mother and little sister Anna, plus David (18-mos-old), were able to make the LONG trek over from Phoenix, AZ! It was SO great to have them, even if it was only for 3 days! It's thanks to them (Anna the photographer, using my mother's digital camera) that we have these pictures. I have a lot more that I'd like to post, but the baby's hungry again, and I have no idea what her three older sisters are up to downstairs, so I better go and resume my post for now. Sadly, the family photos of all 6 of us didn't turn out well at all; so, I decided that this is my favorite. Sometimes, the prep-work pics. make the best ones, I think. Who said we all have to be smiling, happy, and looking forward to take decent family photos? Atleast, this one's more realistic, right?

Sometimes, the best one's are the silly ones! Don't ya think?
